Fire-tone Records has entered into a short term duplication and distribution agreement with The Red Tie Affair. This is a great, female-fronted rock group out of Chicago. Check out their site and pick up the band's newest release "You Are Cordially Invited" on Fire-tone Records. They'll be playing a show with fellow Fire-tone Records artists TEAM ROCKIT in January 2008.
Terre Haute, Indiana's own PHILPOT has joined the Fire-tone Booking roster. Who knew that such a big sound could come out of the corn fields of Indiana! Their debut on Toucan Cove/Universal Records entitled "Hate Writes Better than Love" came out 6/19/07.

WE'VE MOVED... Atlhough the once drug-infested East Village of New York was an
amazing place for Fire-tone Records/Management to start, we've headed to the midwest and
are now located in the fine city of Chicago. Why? There are number of reasons but the
three main ones are:
a)It costs exactly one bazillion dollars to rent office space in New York.
b)Some people from Fire-tone Records/Management are actually from Chicago...no joke
c)WHY NOT?! There is some of the best indie rock going on here anyway.
We are still here to please your musical needs (if you can handle the rock). Don't try
and find us, it's not pretty.

Fire-tone records was created for a number of reasons, but the main reason was that there were too many cool bands that we were involved with that needed to be released and housed under one cool label.
Its the "fend-for-yourself-as-an-indie" age - as if you didn't know, which this label's philosophy is based on. The days of waiting for an uninformed A&R shmoe, doofus, etc (add your own trite, blatant, rude, offensive noun here) to hear one of these bands are indeed over. Thusly, Fire-tone Records was born...
